Our game drive started at 7AM, and what an experience! In the first couple hours we saw a tower (group) of 21 giraffes, Lion couple (male and female) waking up then progressed to "morning delight" (see pics), a couple rhinos, a huge herd of water buffalo, baboons, pumbaa (warthog) in addition to many other animals seen previously.
We may complain about roads, but I guess it's all relative...the roads are referred to as "African free massage". Many unpaved, rocky and ruts. All part of the adventure. When we finally checked in this evening, we were greeted with "45th Anniversary" spelled out in flower petals and greenery. Truly, a wonderful day.
